But why do I have no points?
One more thing you need to know is that the kt membership grade calculation period is based on November 1st at 0:00 every year. At this time, it is said that the grade is determined based on the sum of payments for the previous 12 months of the five products subscribed. In addition, there are benefits such as a higher grade if the subscription period is longer.
For example, the 2022 grade is said to be based on the amount charged from November 2020 to October 2021. The time when the grade is determined in November and the points are actually paid is January 1 of each year. You can use the points for one year from this point until December 31st.
That’s why I don’t have my points, I think it’s because the subscription period hasn’t exceeded 1 year yet, and the customer rating hasn’t been calculated since November hasn’t passed. I think it’s been about 6 months since I signed up for the Internet, but I accumulated 200 points every month, so now I have 1000 points.
However, customers who use mobile devices are given a white level even if they have signed up for less than a year. For the white level, 50,000 points per year are given in monthly installments according to the sign-up period. Internet and mobile rates are similar, but I don’t know why only mobile gives more preferential treatment.

I wanted to use my parents’ remaining points at once, so I looked for a way. doesn’t exist. Everyone wanted to write a precious point at once. I haven’t been able to find a way to do that yet. There is no special way other than just getting a discount from an affiliate.
However, it is said that kt membership points can be transferred to family members. It means that points can be exchanged between family members. The family relationship certificate and identification card must be submitted by the transferor to the KT customer center, plaza, or branch office.
Is it possible to cash kt membership points?
Unfortunately, there is no way to redeem points.
My parents are in the VIP level, so they still have 120,000 points, but they don’t know how to use them, and they don’t even know how many points they have. Credit card points can be cashed, but I don’t know why the telecommunication company points can’t be cashed.
