If you use a point-type credit card issued by Hyundai Card, M points accumulate.
Hyundai Card has two point systems, one is M Point and the other is H-Coin. Since the point that can be cashed is H-Coin, the M Point must first be converted into H-Coin and then converted into cash.

M points are points at a 3:2 ratio, so 3 M points equals 2 won, and since H-Coin has a 1:1 ratio with cash, 3 M points equals 2 won.
This complex point system seems to have been created with the intention of reducing the conversion ratio between M points and cash. Anyway, to convert M points into cash, you must go through the following process.
As explained earlier, in order to cash Hyundai Card points, you must convert M points into H-Coins and then convert H-Coins into cash. You can apply for both the Hyundai Card app and the Hyundai Card website.

The following are the methods that can be applied through the Hyundai Card smartphone app. If the Hyundai Card app is not installed, log in after installing the Hyundai Card app from the Play Store for Android or the App Store for iPhone.

Open the Hyundai Card app and touch More menu.
Touch Basic Benefits under Categories at the top of the menu.
After selecting the H-Coin benefits, scroll down and touch Apply for Conversion.

Among the M points you have, enter the number of points you want to convert to H-Coin, and then touch the apply button.
When converted to H-Coin, touch the OK button.

Remittance of points to your own account
Select H-Coin Benefits from Basic Benefits in the menu again.
Touch the Send money to your account button at the bottom of the screen.

Enter the points to request remittance.
On the deposit account selection screen, select the account number to cash in and touch the account number confirmation button.
Proceed to verify your identity.
Points will be cashed out on business days once you complete the remittance request.

Access the Hyundai Card website and log in.
From the top menu, click My Account > Points/Mileage/Discount/Cashback menu.

Click the M-point exchange button at the bottom of the M-point status.

Convert to H-Coin and use 100% like cash
On the M Point Exchange page, click Convert M Point H-Coin.

Enter M points to convert
If you enter the M points you currently have, it will be calculated as H-Coin according to the ratio of 3:2, and you will see the H-Coin to be converted.
Click the Apply for Conversion button.

Go to M Benefit Information > H-Coin Use Information page in the top menu of Hyundai Card.

Completed cashing of M Points
Enter H-Coin to be converted into cash.
Points will be deposited into your account when you complete your identity verification.
Since there are two Hyundai Card point systems, it is a bit cumbersome to cash in M-points, but you can apply in a few minutes, so you can reduce consumption by cashing in when you have a lot of M-points but no place to use them.
Please note that M points can be transferred when using a family card.
